Michael Bruce, a Bridgewater-Raritan HS lacrosse player, was left a quadriplegic after a car accident in November, 1988. Mike was an outstanding young man, whose quick wit, easy smile, and enthusiasm for life were contagious. Michael passed away on March 13, 2000 after 12 years of mental toughness, his body yielded but his mind never stopped trying. In honor of Mike's passion for life and love of lacrosse, # 8 is awarded to an outstanding senior who best represents these ideas.
